Bible Study on Finding And Dating Your True Love With The Agape Love Of God At The Center No Matter What The Circumstances according to Romans 12:2, James 1:14, 1 Thessalonians 5:21-22

Dating according to God’s will is how to make friends and know each other better. There is even possibility of tying the wedding knot but there is also alot of pitfalls along the way that many dating couples should avoid before presenting themselves on stage as reminded in Romans: 12. 2. And be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, and ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

We need to be careful during dating because the devil is also interested in our dating and wish for us to fall into sin when we are the weakest as explained in James: 1. 14. but each man is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own lust, and enticed. During dating, we need to constantly remind each other on the temptation of sins, because we live in a world full of sexual and flesh attraction. Never should we over confident that we are spiritually strong and we will not stumble and fall into sins.

There is differences between Christian and non Christian dating but we need to aware of it because alot of undesired things can happen during that time. We need to do things that pleases God and our partner. Courtship according to Christianity is to find facts, evaluate, judge the personality and character of our partner, on whether is suitable for us as in 1 Thessalonians: 5. 21. prove all things; hold fast that which is good; 22. abstain from every form of evil. It is simply not about long chit chat, exchages of smiles, dreamy gaze, flattering dress and accessories, sexy looks, fine dining and fun entertainments or perhaps progressing unto the next level of intimacy after the candles die.

The dependability of a person depends on his or her character and not external appearance. Mutual attraction is to enable couples to know each other to come together and know each other better. The best choice of dating partner is to select from among your Christian fellowship and friends, because the dating couples are made of the same yoke and therefore is considered to be a better blend. But it does not forbid dating partner of other yoke, provided you do not lose your own beliefs and faith. We do not simple date and fall in love because we feel lonely, time to settle down, urge of having own children, critical baby bearing years or based on attraction and good feeling. The main reason is to develop true love in Christ Jesus as the center.

Agape love is based on the love of God that is unconditional inspite of our circumstances and physical appearance. This love of Christ Jesus for us is willing to sacrifice Himself on the cross for our sake. And Phileo Love is the liking and admiration that is pure like buddies.

History has shown that human possesses the Phileo Love and recognized the Agape Love of God. Where even deadly foes over long years of battles have developed admiration and respect for the main enemy leader they faced. It is through these long contacts and constant exchanges of swords that both sides know each other very well. And eventually the deadly battles become non deadly and carnage anymore (merely a show of light skirmishes and patrols over enemy territory just to pacify some idealist factions), because the Phileo Love of both sides have come to maturity. This great love of humanity is shown in many great leaders of the past and their accompanying great deeds are remembered and admired by both sides even till this day. Why? Because they all honored God and allowed the Agape Love of God to manifest in the form of Phileo Love; that it flows through in the passage of time on both sides of the divide.

On the other hand, Eros is love based on physical looks and attraction of the flesh and satisfaction of the senses but it is erotic and sexual and not guided by the Holy Spirit. Therefore it is not pure love.

In this world there is still True Love as long as God exists. We need to encourage each other to keep true to each other and to seek God. True Love can wait no matter what; whereas Eros Love simply cannot wait.

Bible Study on Being Peacemakers Of Christ Jesus In Order To Reconcile Men With God according to Matthew 10:16, Matthew 5:9, Hebrews 12:14

The relationship between people depends very much on how we deal with each others. 85% of all source of a person’s success depends on God’s favors, opportunities and interpersonal relationships within your team, company, client and customers. Whereas the remaining 15% rest on our worldly skills and knowledge. God teaches us on how the relationships in God’s way as prescribed in the Holy Bible, which is the comprehensive guide book about God for all Christian travelers in the vast ‘wilderness’ of the world.

God teaches us to be tactful as a wise and experienced snake but mild and truthful like a white dove as commanded by apostle Matthew: 10. 16. Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. Tactful is to be smart in doing good things and to be and to be wise in rejecting evil acts is truthful. Some historical figures in the Holy Bible good interpersonal skills are like Gideon, King David, Abigail the wife of Nabal the Carmelite and the likes.

Some interpersonal avoidance that may destroy our relationships with others includes 1) anger, 2) personal ego,
3) untruthfulness and dishonesty, 4) propensity towards slander, saddist, 5) unsociable behavior and 6) nowadays the potential addiction to hand phone and online games and social media by the younger generation (subjected to debate because as the media of communication changes i.e. telegram, telephone, fax, satellite telecommunications, Internet cyberspace, etc; so does the way we interact).

Nonetheless, sometimes rewording our wordings in our writing and speaking will totally change other people’s perception and the response treatment we might get. Some suggested ways to help improve our interpersonal relationships: 1) smile always if permissible, 2) listen and lend your ears when other speaks, 3) spending time with others, seeing it as a choice and commitment, 4) learn to care for others and 5) ask how can I help you? and offer your best assistance to those in need.

All children of God are called to become peacemakers, because Christ followers seek the truth and justice and fends for the week and oppressed as commanded in Matthew: 5. 9. Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called sons of God. After all reconciliation among men is also the act of reconciling men with Father God as instructed in Hebrews: 12. 14. Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man shall see the Lord.

Children Bible Story on Finding Ours And Helping Others Find The ‘Fountain Of Youth’ In Christ Jesus according to John 14:8-38, Psalm 139:14

Jesus was resting by the well at the village of Sychar, while His disciples went off to buy lunch. A Samaritan woman at the well was shocked because Jesus who was a Jew and she was a Samaritan woman and Jesus approached her and strucked a conversation with her. Because the Samaritan were considered unclean those times because they rebelled against God and they intermarried with the gentiles.

During that brief moments, Jesus shared about the gift of God and on the salvation of God not only to the Jews and also to the Samaritans. The salvation of God in forgiveness of a person by God through their true repentance to God but not by their actions alone because we cannot pardon ourselves for our sins. For that person needs to be reminded not to sin again as mentioned in Psalm: 139. 14. I will give thanks unto thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: Wonderful are thy works; And that my soul knoweth right well.

The above Bible Story was told in John: 4. 8. For his disciples were gone away into the city to buy food. 9. The Samaritan woman therefore saith unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, who am a Samaritan woman? (For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.) 10. Jesus answered and said unto unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.

Bible memory verses suggestions and Sunday School sharing points:

1) The ‘newest gift of God’ which Jesus was referring to was the flowing well of living water, whereas the Samaritan woman was thinking of drinking water at first, because she was thinking unlimited flowing well water as depicted in John 4 :11. The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: whence then hast thou that living water? The flowing living water that Jesus wanted the Samaritan woman to have eternal life salvation of God and the rebirth in the Holy Spirit is like a well of water springing up like a fountain as seen in John: 4. 14. but whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall become in him a well of water springing up unto eternal life. 15. The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come all the way hither to draw.

2) The Samaritan woman was shocked and thought that Jesus was a prophet because He knew of her past secret life and that she had kept 5 husbands before as seen in John 4: 16. Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither. 17. The woman answered and said unto him, I have no husband. Jesus saith unto her, Thou saidst well, I have no husband: 18. for thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: this hast thou said truly. 19. The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.

3) However, the Samaritan woman doubted that Jesus knew about the ‘true’ worshiping of God because she thought that worshiping God at the temples of Jerusalem was not correct compared to worshiping God at the sacred mountains I.e . Mount Sinai / Jabel Musa as conversed between her and Jesus in John 4. 20. Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship. Jesus explained to her that as God’s children need not worship God at a certain place, but more importantly to worship in spirit and in truth and people were able to worship wherever as depicted in John: 4. 21. Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when neither in this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, shall ye worship the Father. 22. Ye worship that which ye know not: we worship that which we know; for salvation is from the Jews. 23. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth: for such doth the Father seek to be his worshippers. 24. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship in spirit and truth. 25. The woman saith unto him, I know that Messiah cometh (he that is called Christ): when he is come, he will declare unto us all things.

4) Thereafter, Jesus also shared to His diciples about the urgency of His ministry to save the lost and help the broken as in John: 4. 34. Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to accomplish his work. 35. Say not ye, There are yet four months, and [then] cometh the harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields, that they are white already unto harvest. 36. He that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal; that he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together. 37. For herein is the saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth. 38. I sent you to reap that whereon ye have not labored: others have labored, and ye are entered into their labor.

Bible Study on Market Place Sharing Of Godly Values And Making A Stand For Your Unique Position In The Market Place according to Colossians 3:23

Jesus is a great relator and uses every opportunities to connect to people I.e. the Roman tax collector that reaps people or the woman at the well. People like to be connected to us if we show love to others. For Jesus is the God of relationships and love. And the riches people in the world is not with the most money, titles, positions and possession wealth are often the lowest ranked in the Kingdom of God. So how do we build relationships in the market place?

We live in a highly competitive world and everyone tries to fish for others people ego. Building relationship is the glue that brings people and families together. In the market place we need to embassadors by impressing others from far and impacting others close by. By building relationships with others, we can have the trust and passport to share the gospel to others. Building relationships is about making a point to share your life, your food and your joys with your colleagues and associates. In the end it involves transforming others people’s life. We must never mistreat our directors, colleagues and staffs and even trainees because in the end bad business relationships will erodes profitability and revenues.

Building relationships with others can be messy. Alot of times people are not willing to reveal their true self to you. Often we might find difficult person are the ones that are doing the most well. In order to start, we need to be sincere, transparent, open and truthful communication, uphold integrity and deliver beyond what was promised.

Sometimes we have to deal with conflicts, but we need to part well with others if cannot resolve the conflict. We need to preserve their dignity and preserve good relationships above all conflicts. Even it is councilling and facing the consequences, we need to separate the values from the acts of the fault and still respect the other side. Because it is the will of God of love and God loves people. When we behave with Godly value and treat others well, we will deflect alot of the conflicts and problems. We also need to learn to develop people and let them go, because it is God’s people. Whatever our work we do because God put us in strategic positions, we have the ideas of bringing up, grooming up people and send them forth like building the Church of Christ. We need to learn to let people go even it brings pain, kicked the dust and betrayal, because we need to have a heart for God and God’s people and learn to forgive and let it go. In the end God will honor us because God is no one’s debtor.

We need to be like disguised missionary and witness for Christ Jesus in the workplace. But we need to change ourselves first before trying to transform others and hear from God as He leads. It is a learning journey and process that is tough when faced with financial results, accounts books and business strategies and savagely survival. God will honor us if we honor Him by living by Godly value and making a stand for God as mentioned in Colossians: 3. 23. whatsoever ye do, work heartily, as unto the Lord, and not unto men. The most important thing in life is to take time off and seek God for ourselves because it is the starting point. We need to be remind ourselves that we need to fear God more than person.

Children Bible Story On God Search Me And Christ Jesus Really Knows My Heart according to Luke 19:1-10, Luke 15:1, Luke 5:30, 1 Samuel 16:7, Psalm 14:1, Romans 3:23, Habakkuk 2:4, Romans 1:17, Acts 16:29-32, Romans 4:16-18

The story of Zacchaeus who was the chief collector and he was wealthy. And Jesus already was prepared for him and that he was waiting to be saved. Zacchaeus was curious to see for himself who Jesus is. However, the crowd was judging Zacchaeus and Jesus for talking with a sinner at the entrance of His house, but Jesus defended that He was here to save the lost. Jesus stayed at Zacchaeus house that night and had dinner with his family. At the same night Zacchaeus was cut to the heart convicted and restituted And after being redeemed he was prepared to give half away of his possession to the poor and truly repented for his sins for cheating the poor by compensating 4 times the amount he cheated.

The above Bible Story is told in Luke: 19. 1. And he entered and was passing through Jericho. 2. And behold, a man called by name Zacchaeus; and he was a chief publican, and he was rich. 3. And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the crowd, because he was little of stature. 4. And he ran on before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way. 5. And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to-day I must abide at thy house. 6. And he made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully. 7. And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, He is gone in to lodge with a man that is a sinner. 8. And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord, Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have wrongfully exacted aught of any man, I restore fourfold. 9. And Jesus said unto him, To-day is salvation come to this house, forasmuch as he also is a son of Abraham. 10. For the Son of man came to seek and to save that which was lost.

During the time of Jesus, the present day Palestine and Jerusalem city was ruled by the Roman Empire and they contracted local tax collectors and aristocrats like Zacchaeus to collect taxes from the people. However, the locals regarded them to be sinners for they exploited their authority and made them wealthy by excessive taxes beyond the stipulated amounts, which put a heavy burden on the poor and working class as seen in Luke: 15. 1. Now all the publicans and sinners were drawing near unto him to hear him. Others than those blood suckers and criminals; the working class, the commoners, the scribes and pharisees considered themselves to be non sinners. Therefore, When they saw Jesus engaging Zacchaeus instead of them, they quickly misread Jesus’s true intention of saving a seeking man and they judged based on having dinner and stayed at that rich man’s villa and therfore criticized and slandered Him in public as seen in Luke: 5. 30. And the Pharisees and their scribes murmured against his disciples, saying, Why do ye eat and drink with the publicans and sinners?

Bible memory verses suggestions and Sunday School sharing points:

1) God always looks in your heart and not in our stature and outward appearance as described in 1 Samuel: 16. 7. But Jehovah said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have rejected him: for [Jehovah seeth] not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but Jehovah looketh on the heart. Because God already know those people who has not a place for Him in their hearts except other worldly possessions and pleasures, Those are the one that displease God for their corrupt minds and wrongful deeds as explained in  Psalm: 14. 1. For the Chief Musician. [A Psalm] of David. The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works; There is none that doeth good.

2) Zacchaeus who was a sinner as described in Romans: 3. 23. for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God; But he was saved because he believed in the salvation of the Son of God and not by his own restitution and repentance as explained in Habakkuk: 2. 4. Behold, his soul is puffed up, it is not upright in him; but the righteous shall live by his faith. And he was saved by the grace of God and made righteous through faith unto Christ Jesus as revealed in Romans: 1. 17. For therein is revealed a righteousness of God from faith unto faith: as it is written, But the righteous shall live by faith.

3) Being good children of God, we not only need to have faith and believe in the salvation of God but also need to receive, read, learn, meditate and apply the Word of God as depicted in Acts: 16. 29. And he called for lights and sprang in, and, trembling for fear, fell down before Paul and Silas, 30. and brought them out and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? 31. And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus, and thou shalt be saved, thou and thy house. 32. And they spake the word of the Lord unto him, with all that were in his house. If we want to be saved and restored to the bosom of Father God, we need to understand and trust the fact that no one in the history of civilizations has saved more people in the past and present than Christ Jesus; for our Lord Jesus is the true vine and the way and the light on the path to our Abba God.

4) Lastly to be save by God’s grace and love, we need to develop faith from within. The kind of faith needed is the unconditional seeking and trusting in the love of God and that He will bring us through all into victory despite how dire the situation may be now as seen in the testament of faith in God by Abraham who is the father of all nations in Romans: 4. 16. For this cause [it is] of faith, that [it may be] according to grace; to the end that the promise may be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all 17. (as it is written, A father of many nations have I made thee) before him whom he believed, [even] God, who giveth life to the dead, and calleth the things that are not, as though they were. 18. Who in hope believed against hope, to the end that he might become a father of many nations, according to that which had been spoken, So shall thy seed be.
