Having relationships problems? Or constantly falling out of love? Or our broken marriage relationship needs salvation? Don’t be despair, because all these headaches and heartbreaks are nothing new in human history. The biblical answer lies in how do we create relationships with others to glorify God. We must focus all human relationships based on the cross of Christ Jesus by carrying His cross and walking the path of love, truth, righteousness and faith. Which is reflected in our loving vertical relationship with God and loving horizontal relationship with people. By putting God into the center of our lives, church leadership and evangelistic missions, only we have the ability to love others based on Christ Jesus. Because to love a total stranger based on their appearance and behavior can be suspicious and difficult at many times.

In the beginning the relationship between man and God was intimate and perfect. And God gave Adam the blessings of the Garden of Eden and even created a clinging and loving help meet later named Eve (by Adam) to make Adam complete. However, God required them to be faithful and obedient to His commandments as seen in Genesis: 2. 16. And Jehovah God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17. but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. God’s commandments must be obeyed because it is for our own good because Satan is all out to tempt us to fall into sin.Because of disobedient, pride and envy of man at the beginning that caused children of God to fall out the grace of God.

Hence, the human descendants all suffered 2 levels of brokenness of fallen from grace. Which is the struggle with unescapable and impending death and broken relationship with God and man also among men / women. This broken God to man relationship is evident at 3 event levels. After being driven out of the Garden of Eden by God, men never found back the initial relationship with God and they never was able to return back to the Garden of Eden. Either the path back home was guarded by Arch Angel Cherubim or the Garden of Eden was later removed from earth forever through nature’s catastrophes or floods. Man started to having the feeling of emptiness spiritually and also feeling insecure, as a result of no God’s presence as their father and provider. Furthermore, the human character also became more ugly and wicked and lost it’s love, justice, compassion and kindness. Thus, pain, degradation, destruction and suffering in life becomes more regular and prominent as a result.

Genesis: 6. 5. And Jehovah saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6. And it repented Jehovah that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. 7. And Jehovah said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the ground; both man, and beast, and creeping things, and birds of the heavens; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

Fear has taken away the peace and everything good. Fear for our status, reputation and even nakedness as evident in Adam and Eve after they had sinned and disobeyed God in the below biblical story, it is a human disposition that is prevalent in both ancient and modern societies. Fear is the result of human sins and it is implanted into all of us and it matures as we grow into adult. Genesis: 3. 8. And they heard the voice of Jehovah God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of Jehovah God amongst the trees of the garden. 9. And Jehovah God called unto the man, and said unto him, Where art thou? 10. And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.

During reconciliation stage, God sent Jesus to restore the relationship between man and God as mentioned in 2 Corinthians: 5. 18. But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and gave unto us the ministry of reconciliation; Because God still wants to salvage and restore all that is still good, despite convicted with guilt for created sinful humans as seen in Genesis 6:8. But Noah found favor in the eyes of Jehovah. We need to look and return to our source, because we longed to return home with God and haveĀ  our relationship with God be restored to the beginning. After the relationship with God has been restored through Jesus as recorded in Matthew: 1. 23. Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, And they shall call his name Immanuel; which is, being interpreted, God with us. Blessings of fullness of life will start to come, the out pouring of God’s blessings is beyond our imagination.

Blessed stage of our life begin as we start to shed all our darkeness and demon covenants from our life and family. And to become children of God that comes with freedom from all bandages. Thus, our lives are transformed and life has a new meaning, that is to inherit the blessings of the new Jerusalem, which is unlimited in blessings. Because the new Jerusalem is the last creation of God for the realization of His Kingdom of Heaven on earth for all mankind.

Family and sibling relationships is planned by God. Grow up together and bond by blood cannot be replaced. In a 3 generation family we need to understand the mentality of the elders grandfather and grandmother I.e. feeling lack of love, fear of death, fear of being abandoned by their children during old age.

Relationship in the body of Christ, for Christ Jesus is the head and we are His body. For our relationship with people ultimately is to glorify God as advised in 1 Corinthians: 3. 20. and again, The Lord knoweth the reasonings of the wise that they are vain. 21. Wherefore let no one glory in men. For all things are yours;

In essence, being able to accept other’s imperfections and so imperfect ministries of the church is meant for all perfect and imperfect people. To be able to accept other’s imperfections, we are able to fellowship together, love another and stay together over long periods of time as commanded in John: 13. 34. A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another; even as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. 35. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another as seen in Psalm: 133. 1. A Song of Ascents; of David. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity! 2. It is like the precious oil upon the head, That ran down upon the beard, Even Aaron’s beard; That came down upon the skirt of his garments; 3. Like the dew of Hermon, That cometh down upon the mountains of Zion: For there Jehovah commanded the blessing, Even life for evermore.

God has made us to feel actual love and to be cherished as recollected by prophet Jeremiah: 31. 3. Jehovah appeared of old unto me, [saying], Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee. Unfortunately, the opposite is more common and prevalent in society these days. People are more prone to show off impatience, frustration and anger when confronted with opposing situations. Furthermore, people can be wicked and hurtful to others that they despise and stare down. In order to restore the loving kindness in humanity we need to learn to truly forgive each other for their imperfections, ugliness and trespasses unto us as charged by
Matthew: 6. 14. For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15. But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. True confession and repentance is the key element in the grace of God’s loving kindness. Because, our merciful God truly forgives those, who have truly turned away from sins and returned to the source; even the laws of man is unable to pardon our mistakes.
